A LETTER FROM COLIN ROYSTON
Trip To Leverkusen:
The trip down on the coach was very tiring. we took the euro tunnel this was my first time on the tunnel. we stopped in Aachen the hotel was first rate .we had a bit of a mix up with the sleeping arrangement's Trevor thought he was going to get away without paying his room bill. 16 euros for watching channel 37 ( this channel was for adults only )
The next day we moved on to Koln. our free afternoon in Koln was finished off with a relaxing drink in a Irish bar. Janet though the present's that Tony & barny bought for their partners was a real " message of love " ( you know what we mean now Tony ! penny dropped. ) then it was on to the game after a small confusion over the platforms we departed kiln on the train for leverkusen.
the highlight of the game was ruud van nistelrooys two and the relief of the final whistle.
a special thank you to Ian & sally for looking after us and can't wait for the next trip.
Colin
A LETTER FROM JACK GRACE, AGED 10
Trip To Carrington:
I went on the trip with my friend Adam. We went on the coach from Bradford, I think there were more than 50 people on the bus.
We went to the training group first and saw loads of the first team players. Gary Neville was having a really bad day, his crosses were going over the bar and missing the players. He went without signing any autographs. Van der Gough was massive, I think he was almost 7 feet tall. I shook hands with Sir Alex, but the best bit was when David Beckham signed my England shirt. We got loads of autographs. Adam had a great time but was disappointed that he couldn't get Van Nistelrooy's autograph. Janet was really excited too because she got to meet Fabien Barthez. After training had finished we went to the Old Trafford to visit the museum. Me and Adam went round the museum with Keith. It was really good because we got to see all the trophies Manchester United had won. It was amazing how many there were. I bought some Manchester United books and Ian and Sally gave us some books too. We had a great time, it was an excellent day out.
